About DecadesofHome.com

We love vintage everything. There is something magical about clothing, houses, campers and cars from the turn of the century to 1960s.  Our home is a 1920 early craftsman but we also co-own and rent through Air BNB in Reno, Nevada two 1960s condos with mostly original retro decor.  When we bought our homes we wanted to maintain the vintage charm of the buildings by decorating them in the decade they were built. It has been fun, but frustrating, to find the appropriate furniture and decor in a price range we could afford. Not to mention durability from 3 little kids and frequent guests. Vintage decor, while amazing, isn’t always the best for our modern lifestyle. With this website we aim to share our favorite items, places to shop, tips, and inspiration and help you create the vintage home of your dreams.
